DVO and Foes Racing Working on 27.5+ Hardtail

Bryson Martin of DVO Suspension and frame fabricator Brent Foes of Foes Racing has started working together to develop the BMR Ht 27.5 + hardtail. The two long time mountain bike industry friends met in February of 2017 to start laying out the design for the project that has finished its first stage of the development process this last week.

Both companies are very excited to see the frame come together so quickly from the time that Brent and Bryson met in February. Bryson had contacted Foes earlier this year with a concept and geometry that he felt would be a viable alternative for the small aluminum frame manufacturer to build at a time when this style of bicycle design is taking a stronger hold in the MTB market. To add to the designs board spectrum it will be able to use 29"and possibly regular 27.5 tires sizes as well and will utilize the DVO 140Sapphire boost fork.

Martin and Foes Racing Sales Manager Bobby Acuna have spent significant time riding 27.5 + hardtails in recent months and know the benefits of the wider tires for hardtail use.Then add in Foes Racing who traditionally builds a high quality aluminum full suspension frame and has built hardtails in the past only to move away from them due to market trends. Where can this be going? The companies feel confident that the BMR Ht frame design will be superior in handling, quality,and styling due to the team work of Brent and Bryson. Like other changes that Foes Racing is undergoing at this time the partners have decided not to hide behind the traditional cloak of developmental secrecy and wants the fans and supporters of both brands to know that they are bringing out something unique.

As details unfold there is talk of specific models for the Japanese and other markets that will differ in finish and size to add an exclusive and necessary feel to those specific markets needs.
