I saved this DJ frame from a while ago knowing my kid would eventually be able to ride it. He's 11 now and fits perfect on this as a trail bike. I also saved the FSA headset from the same era, favorite color from my days working at Mongoose, HT pedals were a close match (bonus).
Drilled out the seat tube for an exit point for the Lev Integra cable.
The Axon Werx carbon fork in 26" is a rare gem. Same model Julie Bresset rode to Olympic gold in 2012. Modified with a lighter negative spring so it can operate in the 30-60 psi range.
Super appreciative of close friends that came through on some of the parts to make this happen....26" wheels and tires were the most crucial Covid items. They were saving some gems for the right build too.
