This bike is a head turner. Gets a lot of attention on the mountains, bike parks and parking lots. While the bike is very light weight and feels light when riding. It's very planted. I wouldn't say it's poppy. More of a "point straight, hold on and go" racer. The Ohlin's coil shock that comes with the frame is amazing. Best DH coil I've ever owned. The only real negative points I could say about the M29 is that the big 29" rear wheel takes a lot of muscle to get up to speed. With clipless pedals, its easy. With flat pedals, it's going to give you a workout when accelerating.  And the frame sizing runs a bit small. I'm 5'8" with a 30 pants inseam and a long torso. And I've always liked my DH bikes with a slightly longer reach. Between 450-475. My Large M29 frame is 450 reach. And I thought about getting the XL frame, but I was afraid the XL's would have been too much. So I used a "Works Components" reach adjust headset to add 6+mm to the reach, and it feels perfect. So if you're looking into buying an M29, think about going a size up from what you usually ride. And riding it clipped in.  Hope this info helps.
