I'm pretty sure Gwin confirmed he would be in the commentary booth for both remaining rounds.
As much as I'd like to see him racing it's nice to know the commentary will be worth listening to for the last 2 races.

Juniors qualifying underway. Women up right now.
Looks like Erice is on form. I think they might be treating this like a timed training run, since there are only 11 entries (1 of whom has gone DNS) and they don't get points for qualifying. Erice's time was almost 15 seconds faster than the 2nd place qualifier.

also noticed that MTB world series youtube live page says junior race starts in 8 hours, so it's clearly scheduled wrong. the one on GMBN racing seems right (starts at 9:40am PST). it's embedded below
