Winning by less than a second, the Eddie Masters went two better than his previous best EWS result, and cemented his standing as one of the fastest enduro riders currently on tour by winning the Les Orres, France race. After two days of hard-fought racing, his win validated his decision to come to Les Orres instead of race at the World Cup DH in Vallnord, Andorra. YEAH EDDIE!In the women's field, Isabeau finished with a comfortable enough lead, even though Raphaela Richter took two stage wins off the Frenchwoman and was knocking on the door here in Les Orres.

Right out of the gate Eddie Masters was pushing hard, taking first place on S1 in front of last week's dominating winner Richie Rude by just 0.25 seconds.

A man possessed, Richie Rude, smashing rocks, crashing out and still winning the Queens Stage by 3.24 @rickschubert

What a battle for the win this weekend it was. On seven stages the overall leader changed six times. Richie Rude was pushing hard to stay on top but wasn´t able to match Eddie's pace on the last two stages. Seb Schieck

After a two-year-long break from racing the EWS, Raphaela Richter returned with a bang by finishing 2nd overall. The former U21 champion from 2016 finished three of the four stages on day one in 2nd and then nabbed stage wins on day 2. Seb Schieck

After a big crash on the first stage of the week Kevin Miquel had another one just before the finish of the last stage. Despite that he still managed to finish in 6th overall.

Sam Hill's race weekend unfortunately started with a flat tire on the first stage. With the super tight liaison times, this meant he also wasn't able to make it in time for his start on the next stage and received a 30-second penalty. Seb Schieck

With a 6th on S1 and a 7th on S6, Christian Textor was showing his speed and finishing the weekend with his best-ever EWS result in 14th. Seb Schieck

While the Men's race was close the battle in the Master's class was even tighter. After 47 minutes of racing Karim Amour edged out Cedrci Ravanel by just 0.15 of a second. Seb Schieck
