General Info
This is a frame I purchased in January 2017 in hopes of having it built for the 2017 season, the plan was originally with 26" wheels which is what the frame was built for.... that never happened. I was having a hard time getting motivated to build a 26" dh race bike after riding friends 27.5 race rigs. Well, after it sat in my living room as a display piece for 9 months I finally said what the hell and tossed the rear wheel off my friends 27.5 trail bike on the rear, and it fit!!! With even more tire clearance than I had on my last Canfield Jedi! then it was go time. thanks to QBP putting a bunch of sweet stuff up on closeout (BOS shock and Boxxer Team) I was able to build my Morewood frame with brand new parts and update it to 650b for a total build under $1500, not including spare parts I had kicking around (hubs, brakes, front rim and tire, seat and seat post, and the crankset. bottom bracket height is at 13.75" and the only thing I might still change would be installing an angleset to get the head tube angle down a bit. t Haven't ridden the bike more than in my driveway and yard, hopefully getting to Creek or Thunder this weekend!
The weight is done on a digital bathroom scale, obviously not 100% but I think its pretty accurate. Ill confirm it at the shop soon! Let me know what you think!
