***SOLD***
![](https://classifieds.mtbr.com/channels/mtbr/data//7/large/Tracer_side_2.jpg)
Frame:
-XL Intense Tracer VP
-Color: Works (raw)
-RP23
-Newer style, flush lower linkage.
-no ISCG tabs **see below
Fjork:
-'09 Fox Float RC2
-1 1/8inch
-Enduro Seals
-White
Extras:
-Cane Creek flush mount reducer headset.
-2 extra upper pivot bolts (retail for around $40 each)
-spare derailleur hanger
-grease gun
-Intense QR seat collar (new)
Frame is in excellent condition. It's hard to show scratches on this frame as there is no paint. There are two small dings under the BB from rocks. Afterwards I covered the area with protective tape so it's almost pristine.
Fork has some minor rubbing from automobile bike racks. I tried to catch it as quickly as I could and covered those areas with stickers (bottom of the lowers) The cap covering the compression nobs has a scratch on it as well.
$1700: Price includes shipping within the United States. HI and AK incur additional costs. Price is firm.
I accept Paypal and am a verified user.
Not interested in any trades.
Email/PM me with any questions.
**Unless you're planning on running a Hammerschmidt, the Tracer VP's ISCG tabs will not accomodate a chainguide as they will not allow enough rotation to clear the chainstay and the guide will be positioned right against the lower linkage causing damage to both.
A standard BB mount ISCG adaptor with a new E.13 SRS+ in the 'wide' setting can clear everything (by a razor thin margin) but does not put a lot of tension on the chain in the smaller rear cogs.
This bike is best run as a triple or a double with a standard bashguard. Even Black Spire Stingers have to be modded quite a bit to clear the lower linkage and then you're still getting significant chain rub in the granny gears.
To keep down noise and chainslap damage to the driveside lower linkage, I used Sam Hill's old trick of covering it with sticky velcro. It's easy to apply/remove and this area along with the bottom of the BB shell all have a new (and unridden) application of this protection (see detail photo). The chainstay also has a brand new application of Frame Wrap protection.
