FINAL RESULTS: 2024 Junior World Cup Downhill Bielsko-Biała

The kids have wrapped up in Poland.

New venue, same result: both Asa Vermette and Heather Wilson made it two for two as the World Cup hit Poland for the first time ever. The brand new track bedded in nicely and provided for exciting racing, with the weather cooperating and treating fans to a great show. A little rain earlier in the day kept everybody honest but the conditions provided for fair racing once the timing beams were broken. Erice van Leuven was eager for redemption after a flat tire robbed her of a great result in Fort William last week, and her clean run was enough to get her campaign back on track with just a bit more speed needed to challenge Heather for the top step now. In the Junior Men's category, Asa is certainly the rider to beat at the moment - his 3:03 was almost 4 seconds faster than Mylann Falquet in second, effectively leaving the rest of the field to battle it out behind him to stay in touch in the overall.
