If only a few details have changed from the actual Trick Stuff brakes, wouldn't that mean they probably work about the same and just look a bit different? While the similarities are undeniable, these seem like a really cool and affordable option so long as we don't see Intense Factory riders flying off the track or blowing up sets of brakes throughout the year, .
People like to talk shit for the sake of talking shit. There has not been a single negative comment in the thread explaining why the Lewis brakes suck, they just say they do. I get it, everyone has an opinion, but some of these comments are just pure arrogance.

Definitely, this seems to be exactly the kind of testing they need

There are several key parts of a bike that I won't cheap out on. Brakes are almost at the top of that list. I can not fathom how terrifying it must be as a WC racer to get handed something like this.
"We'd like you to go risk life and limb in our name. Also, here are some knock off brakes that we found in a dumpster, lol."
Yeah, they get paid to praise them, wouldn’t read too much Into that
Career suicide to come out and say, our fresh new brake sponsor aint that good. To be fair I have never heard of this brand. Could be great. I know people that ride knock off chinese carbon rims and they.... work. If they truly are trickstuffs then more power to them.
One of my friends bought a set at the beginning of the year - really loves them and they feel very nice. I think calling them knock-offs and dismissing them is a bit unfair.
Will Tracey be competing in any events this year? She's raced a handful of events since moving over to the commentary side (with a number of wins) but not a full race schedule, so it isn't entirely surprising to see her depart the team.
Been reading that name for more than 20 years- still have no idea how to say it, either.
It IS awesome seeing the UK festival circuit get strong again- those classic weekend bashes in a farmers field have always looked like one of the fun-est-est times in MTB

Nantmawr = Nant - Mawr (pronounced like Bauer as in skates not mower as in lawnmower)
I went to the original GoldRun as a dumb 17 year old spectator back in the 90's, it was chaos! so much happening!! huge crashes and injuries it was like a war zone, plenty of beer and music, a British MX rider (Paul Cooper) with his SoCal Kawasaki race truck doing a jump show after the racing was done, tonnes of beer and music, Fantastic!!

There's no shame in struggling with the pronunciation of Welsh place names. I lived there for a few years and regularly got laughed at for my attempts.
The Welsh do make formidable scrabble players though.

I'm not talking shit about how the brakes work, I have no idea how they work and if they just copied trickstuff they probably are great. But seeing as they look like they just copied trickstuff, come straight from China, a country known for blatant IP infringement with no local enforcement, it seems kind of shitty to promote them.

If it isn’t patent infringement, it is fair game as far as I am concerned. Anyone can make something nice that costs outrageous amounts.

I've been running a test set of ultimates for a few weeks now and... Well they're not bad, that's for sure.
One of my friends bought a set at the beginning of the year - really loves them and they feel very nice. I think calling them knock-offs and dismissing them is a bit unfair.
I prefer my breaking brake rumors in the tech rumors thread....but that's just me

Well I have a set of Trickstuff Maximas on my bike and I'd still like to try those Lewis brakes. They look good!!
Uncle Kirt on Spesh.
Sick
I’ll get you the Chinese crap. You send me your Maximas
Foes head tube gusset ?
Looks like it. There is something different going on with the lower part of the headset though. Could just be the photo.
Tracey Hannah and Cuscus’s UR Team part ways.

Looks like a Canyon Strive upper link to me
Mavens on a pike equipped bike is an absolute statement. "I go fast".
I guess I am wondering if he wants to do Enduro or DH???
Slaloms and Quad Descenders! First confirmed race back is the Natwamar Quarry festival in the UK. A proper small bike left/right spectacle

This is my first time posting in this thread and likely my last. This is great freaking news. Cat needed a sponsor that was more in his lane.

Hahaha....I said I'd try them, not that I'd swap them!!!!
