not that we even have a proper 4X circut in NZ, but i agree. 4X or mountainX tracks should be burly, unpredictable, techy and fast. big jump lines and multiple line choice. what a perfect spectator sport.

perhaps, if the uci will not improve the tracks, then we need a domestic 4x championship series with dh style tracks.
i love the idea of mini dh tracks. with taller berms and big jumps. i think that most concisely sums it up.

I absolutely agree with Cedric and everyone below. 4X NEEDS changes or less and less great rider would be racing it.

Yes 100 % right ! mtb is not bmx , if You want to race bmx track race bmx! bmx gate and first man out of the gate is always a winner damn that will kill 4x. I was doing tv comments on that event and it was a great night! cool to see CG on 4x track !

Completley agree with CG. I think 4X shoud just be a Downhill track wide enough for 4 riders and with taller berms. I would love to see 4 riders abredth caining it through a root section. Would be amazing.

Say it like you see it CG. More need to speak up and back CG, it would benefit the sport and the riders. Was talking to my mate in the bar last night about 4x and we concluded that basically 4x tracks need to be like the crankworx slopestyle course. But gnarlier.
