Intense M9 FRO Frame

The Intense M9 is by far the fastest DH bike I've ever ridden. I've read a bunch of reviews about the M9 and they all sound like the kind of DH bike I was looking for. The craftmanship of the frame is amazing and Intense's customer service is spot on perfect. My first day of riding my M9 at Highland bike park was extremely difficult. I pretty much spent the whole day taking test runs and dialing the suspension. On my second day there I have found the perfect settings that works for me and they are spot on.  The M9 carries so much speed and it never lets up. There where curtain spots at highland park that I would put in a few extra pedal strokes on my old DH rig to keep my speed and momentum up. But on the M9 there is no need too. If anything, I'm using the brakes more offen on the M9 and my timed runs are 4 seconds faster! The M9 is truly amazing.  The only issue I had with my M9 is that most of the jumps at highland park have a lot of pop to them. So I have to run the M9 with a really slow rebound setting. This keeps the M9 from nose diving off all the jump.  But for pure DH race courses, I speed up the rear rebound just a bit and it tracks the ground perfectly.

Also, the M9's lower VPP linkage comes with built-in grease zerk fittings so that maintenance and up keep is simple.  I'm not one for being company loyal but this bike may change my mind on that subject. "Intense for Life!"
