Product Spotlight: iXS Signature Series Knee/Shin Guards

As much as necessary, as little as possible...

The Signature Series Knee/Shin guards are another fine example of how iXS Sports Division’s cooperation with pros that leads to amazing results. For the last four years Roger Rinderknecht has been rocking iXS protection while being one of the world’s fastest 4X racers and semi-finalist at Beijing’s Olympic BMX race.  Roger will tell you that he’s impressed by how this innovative company listens to rider’s input.

For the Signature Series, Roger wanted as much as necessary and as little as possible. That’s why these minimalist knee/shin protectors weigh a scant 490g per pair. Even with a minimalist approach, they offer a lot of protection; thanks to the NockOut padding, the flexible Squeezebox knee joint and strategically placed AeroMesh and VentMesh fabric which is both highly breathable and antibacterial.  A textile liner further adds to the comfort, and a nylon outer layer makes sure these protectors are tough enough to withstand the abuse they face on a world-class racer’s legs.
