First Look: 2015 Devinci Spartan Carbon 4

Devinci launched an aluminum version of the Spartan less than two months ago. Today the Spartan Carbon becomes official. It retains the same 165mm travel and geometry that makes the bike well suited to Enduro race use, but drops nearly 2-pounds off the weight of the aluminum version. The frame has features similar to several of Devinci’s bikes, including Split Pivot suspension and adjustable geometry via the rear shock mount.

Geometry

In the low position, the bike has a 65.8-degree headtube angle, 17-inch (432mm) chainstays, and 13.27-inch (337mm) bottom bracket height.

Build Kits, Pricing and Availability

The Spartan Carbon slots in at $400 CAD more than aluminum Spartan, and is available with four build kits or as a frame only.
