Loic was surprised with the win as he said he just took it easy not wanting to risk anything because of the upcoming World Cups. Well I can't wait to see him trying then. @maddogboris
Eliot Jackson, where did this run come from? The only one not surprised was himself. He loved the track and felt good all week, flying on the lower slopes where others cruised. During his post race interview he mentioned running headphones, but forgetting to lock his iPod, so it skipped around the entire run. #mashup -Sven Martin
Rachel getting it done once again. @maddogboris
Tracey Hannah, not with riding scars, but tree-climbing scars. Yep saving a kangaroo that got stuck. That's worth the 0.74 seconds that kept her from 1st place. -Sven Martin
Now that's off-camber! Sam Blenkinsop won the bottom section and some hearts along with it. -Sven Martin
Blenki looks so chill as he goes 500mph through the off-camber that he could be thinking about how much Norco teammate Bryn Atkinson looks like movie star Ryan Reynolds. #googleit @maddogboris

New bike, new kit. Emilie Siegenthaler earned a solid 3rd place and blasted the big step up, too. -Lee Trumpore
Dave McMillan took some course tape with him as a souvenir. DH results aside, his whip to nasal lander in the whip comp is one of the unforgettable moments of the weekend. -Lee Trumpore
Sam Hill scrub-whipping like no other after minimal DH runs and 3 full days of Enduro training. -Sven Martin
George Brannigan with his now-famous Flutter Daddy on the last hip. Yes thats what it's called now. George couldn't back up his Nationals win, but still had a solid result. -Sven Martin

Dean Lucas, moto'ing all the way home for a screaming crowd. @maddogboris
Wyn Masters probably hoped for a better finish, but the Enduro is still to come. @maddogboris
Rachel Atherton played it safe before the first World Cup skipping some of the bigger jumps but still taking the win. Smart girl. -Sven Martin
#busted @maddogboris
Mike Jones, coming straight at you. He was wild and loose on the off-camber which is almost more notable than any result. @maddogboris
One of the best finish sections on a DH track for a long while. CWX DH delivered. -Sven Martin
3 Sam Hill shots in a slideshow is the bare minimum requirement for radness according to the Internet Mountain Biking Association of the Galaxy. -Lee Trumpore
