Nacogdoches, Texas - October 18, 2011- Sports medicine manufacturer, Allsport Dynamics, Inc., today announced that it has been assigned HCPCS Code L3915 for the new OH2 Wrist Brace for billing health insurance, from the Pricing, Data Analysis and Coding (PDAC) Committee.
All models of the wrist braces have both preventative and post-injury applications. Used properly, they provide rigid support to help prevent injury of the wrist. For post-injury use, Allsport Wrist braces are covered under most insurance plans, with a doctor’s prescription, and help restore the functional and structural characteristics of the injured wrist. Allsport Wrist braces enable injured athletes to return to activity sooner, while reducing the risk of re-injury.
Available in both custom and off-the-shelf models, Allsport Wrist braces allow for limited and controlled motion of the wrist, specific to the athletes maximum range of motion. This is accomplished with a patented bi-axial, articulating hinge system. The open-palm design is comfortable and limits the obstruction of the athletes’ grip, while the rigid dorsal frame provides stability and support.
U.S. Patents # 7,402,148 and # 7,708,709 Australian Patent # 2004257658 Patent Pending in Canada and the EU.
