X Games Munich Mountain Bike Slopestyle is the first Diamond event of the season, taking place on June 30th and the only one to take place in Europe in 2013. It is the first time that mountain bike slopestyle will be a part of the X Games competitions and so it should be no surprise that every professional rider dreams of a starting spot at this historic event.
There are 16 spots open to the worlds best mountain bike athletes. 12 of these spots are awarded to the top 12 riders in the FMB World Tour 52 Week Seeding List.
The 52 Week Seeding List cut for X Games Munich was after the Red Bull Berg Line event on May 20th 2013. This Gold event was the perfect occasion for the best athletes from around the world to earn some more points and climb into the Top 12. Here are your Top 12 riders going to X Games Munich:

In addition, over 40 amateur riders age 15-19 have submitted videos to earn their spot at Red Bull Phenom (a separate event that will take place on the slopestyle course being used for the main event) during X Games Munich. Three lucky riders will be selected by Richie Schley based on their video application, another three will be selected from the FMB World Tour 52 Week Seeding List. For clarity, these 6 Phenom riders will NOT be competing against the 16 pros in the main slopestyle event.
