I'm surprised no one grabbed this little fact from the King's 17 Questions video

Sounds like Mitch is on the Steve Peat Syndicate North America team...seems like a strong move for a young rider with amazing potential.

scrub over to 2:20 and peaty let's the cat out of the bag

having barely any sponsors while being the top american junior was whack! but as he can now race pro at world cups. is he still a junior or first year elite?

Watching him at the US Open GS Finals was awesome. During the first run, he beat all the Pros time by 2 secs I think. Took a nose dive off the step down on his final run. Glad he was ok, and cant wait to see him next year.

Mitch went to the World Cups last year on his own dime, did all his own wrenching, made all his own arrangements, found all his own food, figured out all those other languages, etc. Imagine doing all that, and then trying to race at an elite level. Mitch is a great kid and damn fast. It's great to know he is going to have some help next season, and will be learning from, and competing with the best.

I caught it in the 17?. But was not surprised bout it. I was however surprised that no one picked this ripper up earlier for a full ride! He is a ripper to.

A bit surprised he didn't hook a 'bigger' ride to be honest. Should be good though! Will be interesting to see where he decides to focus

Awesome.

Super nice kid with ridiculous talent and as Joss pointed out - if you can do all he has done on your own (and with your dad, of course) imagine how it's gonna go with the Peat Syndicate! Great for the sport, always positive, always smiling (even when you fell over in the start gate at the indoor BMX track a few weeks ago ;-) and then just rips it apart.

Go Mitch!

Mitch has rocket power speed. It's nice to see an American on the rise again and on a great team that will definitely help improve his skills (if that's possible). Congrats to mitch!

so...specialized wasn't anything special. I talked to him last march before sea otter and he said he was on specialized/fox....i didn't doubt him bc he had a special p1 w/ edge wheels and a fox 831 on it. the thing weighed 22 pounds i think, so nutty light. that kid has some serious skills. i had never seen someone manual around a huge pumptrack then just throw down on huge jumps
