Fast Suspension Ride Shock

Image
French suspension manufacturer Fast is just about ready to release a new shock, called the "Ride". Based on their flagship Fenix shock, the idea with the Ride was to simplify some aspects of construction and manufacturing to hit a lower price point. The shock is built around the same chassis as the Fenix, in fact most of the parts are directly swappable between the two shocks. The Ride-E (Enduro) gets a 3-way adjustable compression damper, with open, flow, and climb modes, while the Ride-D (Downhill) gets full low-speed compression adjustment as well as Fast's adjustable "mid-speed" valve. Both shocks get external rebound adjustment of course, as well as a hydraulic bottom out feature, more on that in one of the next slides. The Ride will retail for about 650 Euros without a spring (Fast's own spring is about 100 Euros if you need to add one), compared to about 950 for the Fenix (with spring).
