Happy to see any US downhill from DHSE to now this and just curious why, with getting nuked by Discovery, Red Bull didn't pull of an Americas Downhill w/ tracks from North through South America? Everyone effing hates UCI and especially - semis - and there are insane #'s of shredders from Mex to Chile who could just as easily win any of these races. The lack of actual world exposure in the World Cup is glaring and Monster picking this up is sweet, no doubt... just seems like it would've been a dunk and very popular, as well as live telecasts via Red Bull.  But maybe w/o all the main pros on the World Cup circuit it wouldn't be a popular (?) - seems like downhill fans despised the Discovery coverage last year so much that an Americas series would be a gimme. I'd easily watch that.

This is it.  I mean look at crankworks viewership vs world cup.  Lots of people don't tune in because all they care about is seeing Bruni lay down a run.  Its a bummer.  I agree there is a ton of talent and venues out there.

Do we actually have a metric to compare UCI (2023 anyway) vs. RB C-worx?  I prob'ly am not remembering correctly but I thought ESO/Discovery refused to release numbers last year.  I for one paid for a couple months then bagged it because the commentary sucked so badly ("He's fast !!!!!!!!" - over & over & over from Cedric along w/ BS graphics, drones, and - gag... semi's).  But until last year I watched all DH and c-works.  Dunno, that's just me. That Whistler 1199 track race was easily one of the best of all time (imo).  Heard though: seems like it comes down to clicks but w/ as upset as everyone was at least online - and how badly the subscription thing seemed to go off, I'd think more eyeballs would tune into crankworx vs. Discover, especially this year (?)
