Great shoe for downhill

Familiarity:: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm just getting into downhill mountain biking and found these shoes make a world of difference from my, admittedly non-ideal, running shoes. They grab the RaceFace Chesters securely and I've found they have given me new confidence going over larger drops and jumps. The fit is on the small side. Most of my shoes are 11.5 but I had to get the 12s for the Five Ten Freerider. Over-all great shoe when paired with even a modest MTB pedal.

Run smaller than other Five Ten

Size Bought:: 10.5

I have a pair of Five Ten Hellcat Pro size 10.5 but the Freerider are half size smaller so I had to return them. Because of that I haven't tried them on the trail but the seem robust and well built.
