The first meaningful runs are done for the elite men and women at the World Championships in Fort William. There are no points for qualifying at Worlds but a chance to measure up against the others and see where you stand for finals. Furthermore, as far as we understand it, with 80 finals spots for the men and 40 finals spots for the women up for grabs, anybody who started qualifying today will ride in finals tomorrow (start order to be determined by current UCI DHI rankings).

Hmm wonder what happened to Cami? But good to see both Rachel and Nina do their quali runs after going down in practice. Hopefully they are able to tough it out for one run tomorrow!
