RESULTS: Vali Höll and Loic Bruni Qualify Fastest in Vallnord 4

The chips are down!

The elite men and women wrapped up qualifying under blue skies today in Andorra, on a rough and fast track. Loic Bruni and Loris Vergier did their part to hold off the charging young guns lead by Jackson Goldstone, while Vali Höll confirmed that she is the woman to beat at this point in the season. Current series leader Camille Balanche did not finish her qualifying run, as per Emilie Siegenthaler she had "the biggest crash of her life" after getting blown by the wind on the road gap. She is reportedly in relatively good condition with no major head trauma or internal injuries - we wish Camille the very best and a speedy recovery!

As if that wasn't enough drama, a severe weather warning has been issued for finals day which has led the organizers to modify the schedule - there will not be a semi-final, the riders who qualified today will all ride a final which is set to run early in the day. If the weather moves in faster than anticipated the race may be postponed for the day. Updates will be provided by the organizers at the start of the day in Andorra tomorrow.
