Dry, fast conditions made for a great kick-off to timed racing at the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill in Val di Sole, Italy. Junior racers took to the track in an effort to slot in for Friday's race. Kiwi ripper, Sacha Earnest smoked the Junior Women with a nearly 5-second victory while Junior Men's Top 3 were separated by less than half a second, with Ryan Pinkerton taking the top spot ahead of Henri Kiefer and Christian Hauser.
