RESULTS and REPLAY: Val di Sole DH Elite Semi-Finals

Blue skies and dry conditions were on tap as the racers tackled the semi-finals in Val di Sole. Vali Höll fired back after missing out on first place in yesterday's qualifying session to Camille Balanche, besting the latter by 3.5 seconds in today's first run. Nina Hoffman had a crash and finished outside the top 10 but will start in the finals thanks to her protected status. In the men's, Loris Vergier held off the charging Jordan Williams to take top honors and set us up for a scintillating battle later today. Finn Iles finished third with Jackson Goldstone nipping at his heels, between Jordan and Jackson there is no doubt that the new generation is here to shake things up. Loic Bruni hit a tree and came to a dead stop, we were happy to see him keep rolling after what looked like a pretty hard impact. He finished way down the order but will start finals as well.
