RACE REPORT - Monster Energy #1 Pro Downhill at Rock Creek 12

The spark of #USDH has lit a fire and it was burning at round one of the Monster Energy Pro DH Series. Interviews, photos and videos await.

The first-ever Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series race took place at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina this weekend. Clay Harper, founder of the series, has a vision to bring back national-level downhill mountain bike race events and round 1 has proven to be a strong start. Jack Rice was at the event and caught up with Clay and others to get their thoughts on the weekend. Our show concludes with the Pro Women's and Men's press conference audio.

Matilda Melton was flying in Cat 1 17-18. She was headed to a win until she went OTB on the last jump. She finished 2nd in her class, five seconds off the pace. Her last split was a 1:57 compared to 1:58's of the fastest pro women!
